In 100 Words: Heartless Body

For a few days, Kristin was preparing herself. She wanted to go to the island on her own.

She was getting better. Only a few more days of practice and she’d make it.

But things seldom go as planned. She had to deal with an unexpected thunderstorm.

She made a choice to lead her way towards her goal anyway.

“I’m going in the middle of the sea,” she expressed.

“Forget it,” says the boatman, “The weather is too risky.”

“But I’m going, it’s my dream.”

“My heart is already there, heartless bodies are never hurt by bad weather or whatever.”
